Kensington Palace have shared a selection of pictures online to celebrate Mother’s Day. These included pictures of Kate Middleton with the royal children and Prince William and Prince Harry with Princess Diana. The selection of snaps also included a sweet throwback picture of Kate and her mother, Carole Middleton.

Fans were quick to comment on the post and share their best wishes.

One wrote: “Happy Mother’s Day Duchess. You are such an inspiring role model for all mums.”

Another added: “Such lovely pictures. Happy Mothers day.”

One of the pictures shared shows Carole Middleton holding her daughter Kate, who was just a baby at the time.

Some royal enthusiasts also noticed the striking resemblance between Kate and her mother in the snap.
