Easter bank holidays: Supermarket opening times over Easter
[ad_1]
Easter falls on the second weekend of April this year, with Easter Sunday on April 12. For some, it may not feel like a typical Easter bank holiday, as the UK is currently on lockdown to curb the spread of coronavirus.
Despite this, Easter Eggs are still available in stores and Britons will still get two days off work for the Bank Holiday.
The Bank Holiday falls over four days, starting on Friday, April 10 for Good Friday, and lasting until Monday, April 13 for Easter Monday.
However, in Scotland, Good Friday is not a bank holiday, but Easter Monday is.
Usually, schools break up over the Easter Holidays, however, due to the coronavirus outbreak most students are already not in school.
