Stokes will be doing his bit to help raise money for the NHS by taking part in a FIFA 20 tournament alongside fellow sports stars in the coming weeks.

The NHS Charities Together Cup will also feature Joe Root, Jos Buttler, Lando Norris and Justin Rose are just some of the other names involved.

“Everybody thinks they are the best at it,” said Stokes. “Probably Jos, Moeen and Rash are the best amongst our lot, Broady is pretty good too, and he always has a tactic up his sleeve.

“There is that much time on tour to kill when you’re not playing or between training sessions, gaming seems to be one of the most popular ways to pass the time.”
