Sophie Countess of Wessex, 55, along with other royals, has been getting in touch with Britons to continue the Royal Family’s work during coronavirus lock down. She joined in with VE Day commemorations alongside her husband, Princess Anne and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
The Duchess of Cambridge first wore the dress in 2016.
It’s the Aimee polo dot dress, which sold for around £1,748.38.
Royal fans may also have noticed a little necklace Sophie was wearing in the video.
She appeared to be wearing a small diamond cross necklace, very similar to a set she wore on her wedding day.
On her wedding day Sophie wore a set of jewellery from her husband, specifically designed for her.
The pieces, a necklace and earrings made from white and black pearls, with a cross pendant on the necklace.
Sophie Countess of Wessex spoke out in an Instagram video, making a rare statement.
In it, Sophie praises those who came together to build the NHS Nightingale Hospital North East in Sunderland. She formally opened the hospital online, via the video link.
Fans praised the Countess of speaking out, and one commented on the quality of her speech.
They said: “Such a lovely voice.”
“What a lovely lady,” another said.
Fans have claimed Sophie is “under appreciated” and “her work and selflessness overlooked”.
The wife of Prince Edward, the Queen’s youngest son, has been volunteering at a London kitchen. She has been doing so once a week, “privately, without any fanfare,” according to the Daily Mail.
