Could I change households if I am not showing symptoms?

The UK has now moved from ‘Stay Home’ to ‘Stay Alert’, with Britons being urged to ‘Control the Virus’ instead of ‘Protect the NHS’ and ‘Save Lives’. Prime Minister Boris Johnson has introduced ”careful steps” to ease lockdown measures for England.
Speaking on Sunday evening, Mr Johnson updated the UK’s lockdown status and introduced a new Covid Alert System, to monitor the coronavirus threat level as the pandemic moves forward.
This will, in turn, dictate what sort of lockdown will be in place, until the virus is gone.
Which level the UK is in is dependent on the R Value – which is the rate of infection throughout the population.
The R Value needs to be below zero, which means the virus is not spreading rapidly.
Currently the UK is in level four but is moving into level three, meaning rules can now be relaxed.

Can I change households?
The rules still stipulate that you must not visit other people at their homes, and instead should meet them in an outdoor place and maintain the two metre distance rule.
This easing only applies to two individuals from separate households, so, for example, someone wouldn’t be allowed to meet both their parents together.
While there is no straightforward answer to the question – the evidence points to no, you cannot change where you are currently living, whether you are showing symptoms or not.
From May 13, you will be able to exercise with one person from outside your household in England, as long as you keep at least two metres apart.
People in England can drive as far as they like to outdoor open spaces, but they should not travel to different parts of the UK which still have stricter rules.
Scotland and Wales – which have their own powers over lockdown and have not changed the advice to stay at home – have rejected No 10’s new ‘Stay Alert’ slogan.
In these countries, people are now allowed to exercise more than once a day.
In Wales people should start and finish exercise from home.
In Northern Ireland you can drive to a safe space for exercise.
Dogs can be walked as part of a person’s daily exercise in all four nations of the UK.
