Melania Trump has joined her voices to the many making their thoughts and feelings known after the death of George Floyd. George Floyd, a black man, died after a white police officer held him to the ground in Minneapolis last week.

Melania took to her Twitter account in the light of the protests in the US last week too.

The First Lady tweeted: “Our country allows for peaceful protests, but there is no reason for violence.

“I’ve seen our citizens unify & take care of one another through COVID19 & we can’t stop now.

“My deepest condolences to the family of George Floyd. As a nation, let’s focus on peace, prayers & healing.”

It was revealed President Donald Trump was taken to an underground bunker amid the protests yesterday.

A White House Official and law enforcement source told CNN the president was there for little under an hour.

But where Melania Trump and the couple’s son Barron there too?

According to reports they were.

A law enforcement source told the outlet the protocol would be to move all protectees.

A source said: “If the condition at the White House is elevated to RED and the President is moved, Melania Trump, Barron Trump and any other first family members would be moved as well.”

Protesters have been organising outside the White House for days after George Floyd’s death.

They are calling for the police officer to face justice for his actions, and against the killing of black people by police.

The price of Melania Trump’s engagement ring was revealed in recent news.

She and Donald married in 2005, and as a billionaire’s wife she has a lavish diamond ring.
