Princess Anne vs Queen: Anne channels her mother’s signature style at latest outing

Princess Anne, 70, is something of a royal fashion icon and has been praised for her bold outfit choices over the years. On Thursday (October 29), the Princess Royal donned a silk headscarf, one her mother Queen Elizabeth II‘s favoured accessories during an outing to an inner-city farm.
Anne is known to be one of the hardest working members of the Royal Family and got straight back to face-to-face engagements as soon as lockdown was lifted.
The Princess Royal’s latest visit was to the Oasis Southampton City Farm, a community hub which offers a range of services including support for adults and children with learning difficulties.
Princess Anne does not have her own official Twitter account but the Royal Family often shares her royal work.
On Friday, the Royal Family account shared three photos of Anne at the farm.

The tweet read: “Yesterday The Princess Royal visited the Oasis Southampton City Farm, which offers a wide range of activities to the whole community, including adults and children with learning disabilities.
“HRH met volunteers and staff, as well as the farm’s sheep and chickens.”
Anne wore a green tweed jacket, long brown outdoor boots and a purple silk headscarf as she headed out into the rain holding an umbrella.
The engagement was less formal than most city visits and allowed Anne to adopt a more country look.
The Royal Family’s Twitter account tweeted about the visit earlier this month.
The first tweet read: “Yesterday, The Princess Royal visited The Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Wood.
“The Wood was established in 2012 to celebrate 60 years of Her Majesty’s reign, and The Princess planted one of its first trees, a Black Poplar.”
The second tweet read: “The Princess Royal met Woodland Trust staff and volunteers, and saw how much the Wood has grown over the last eight years.
“To commemorate yesterday’s visit, The Princess Royal planted an Oak Tree.”
