Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh has announced she is pregnant with her third child.
The 39-year-old singer is already mum to two little boys – Bobby, six, and Cole, four – with her husband, former boyband member Justin Scott.
Walsh posted the happy update on Instagram, writing: “They say 3 is the magic number! It’s a strange time but I’m so happy to share this lovely news with you all! Me, Justin and the boys are so excited to add another little munchkin to our crew.”
Celebrity pals including Denise van Outen, Kara Tointon and Binky Felstead were quick to congratulate her.
She first revealed her pregnancy in an interview with OK! Magazine, telling the publication: “It’s been a bit of light in the distance and something to look towards and get excited about, and plan for.”
Walsh said she was around 15-weeks pregnant at the time of the interview and revealed that she and Justin had started trying for another baby during lockdown, and it had “happened quite quickly”.
She said her baby bump was quick to show as it was her third child, adding “and I do tend to have quite big bumps”.
She admitted that her boys were keen to know the sex of the baby and said she may find out during her 20-week scan.
Walsh said that whatever the gender, the baby is likely to be her final child. She also said it wasn’t just about trying to add a girl to her brood.
At the time of the interview, Walsh said she had told her former Girls Aloud bandmates Cheryl and Nicola Roberts about her pregnancy but hadn’t been able to see either Sarah Harding or Nadine Coyle.
Walsh said the girls had been hoping to meet up in person before Christmas, but tightened COVID-19 restrictions had forced them to abandon their plans.
In August of this year, Harding, 39, revealed that she had been diagnosed with advanced breast cancer.
She is currently undergoing chemotherapy to fight the disease, which has also spread to other parts of her body.

Following her diagnosis, she has written her life story, which will be published in the New Year.
Earlier this year, Walsh starred in the socially-distanced West End musical Sleepless alongside Jay McGuiness, based on the hit Meg Ryan romcom Sleepless In Seattle.
