Many Britons will sign up to subscription services to get great content on demand.
Popular platforms include Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV+ and Now TV.
While the services come with a monthly fee, Martin explained there are some ways to watch their shows without paying.
He said: “Watching TV is a big deal during a normal Christmas, but with many Home Alone (which is also free) or simply having fewer people around, it may be an even bigger part of your ritual than usual.”
