Morrisons UK: Supermarket introduces food price changes with fewer deals for shoppers

This is in line with recent Government legislation that aims to tackle obesity.
Last month, it was announced supermarkets would need to reduce the number of deals on unhealthy items.
The new rules stated offers like “buy one get one free” and “three for two” would be banned on unhealthy items.
These apply to foods high in fat, sugar and salt such as crisps, soft drinks, pizzas and ready meals.
Supermarkets must also change the layout of stores to promote healthier alternatives.
