My Mum Tracy Beaker launched on CBBC last night at 5pm. The second and third episodes of this new three-part series will follow at the same time tonight and tomorrow night. But who is the show’s leading star, Dani Harmer?
Dani Harmer, 32, has a net worth of around £2.1million, according to celebrity sites.
It’s a whopping fortune that the actress has amassed by playing the infamous Tracy Beaker, as well as appearing on other TV shows since the early 2000s.
Dani was born in Bracknell in Berkshire and has a younger sister named Betsy, who is a hairdresser.
At the age of seven, Dani won a scholarship to attend Redroofs Theatre School in Berkshire.

The Story of Tracy Beaker continued for five series, finishing in 2005.

She released her debut single ‘Free’ in 2009, which was also the theme tune for Dani’s House, a CBBC show that was broadcasted from 2008 to 2012.
In 2018, Dani performed an original Christmas song called ‘Rock with Rudolph’ alongside 26 other celebrities, in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Dani is not married, but lives with her partner Simon Brough.
The couple have a four-year-old daughter named Avarie-Belle.
Dani’s latest career step sees her play an adult Tracy Beaker who is reunited with her childhood friends (or enemies), such as Justine Littlewood.
My Mum Tracy Beaker is based on the Jaqueline Wilson book of the same name, published in 2018.
