This date will mark the Early May bank holiday, while another bank holiday, the Spring bank holiday, will fall on Monday, May 31. On Bank Holiday Monday, the majority of Lidl stores across England and Wales will be open from 8am to 8pm.

Lidl opening hours are as follows:

• 10am to 4pm – Sunday, May 2
• 8am to 8pm – Monday, May 3
