Tesco: Clubcard points and vouchers due to expire at end of month

Tesco Clubcard users must redeem their vouchers by a week from tomorrow. After May 31, the vouchers will run out.
“They’ll be accepted online, in-store and with Reward Partners.
“The expiry dates will be updated in your Clubcard app and in your online account; paper vouchers will be accepted at the checkout in-store.”
However, the good news is that Clubcard points issued in May 2019, and therefore set to expire this month, are being extended until November 31.
Earlier this month, a spokesperson for the supermarket’s UK Customer Engagement Centre said: “We know that you may not have been able to use your Clubcard vouchers as you planned recently.
“So, as a little help from Clubcard, you’ve got extra time to spend your vouchers which were due to expire on May 31, 2021.”
The spokesperson added: “Any vouchers issued in May 2019 won’t expire until November 30, 2021, giving you an extra six months to use them.
“We’ll update the expiry date on your digital vouchers, and we’ll continue to accept paper vouchers in-store until the extended expiry date.
“Whether you’re planning to save on our BBQ range or treating yourself to something special, we hope this helps.”
Additionally, vouchers which were due to expire in February 2021 will now last until August this year.
Tesco’s loyalty scheme means that shoppers are given one point for every £1 they spend in store, and each Clubcard point is then worth 1p.
These points are sent as vouchers every three months and are valid for two years.
If they are not spent by their expiry date, they are lost and cannot be refunded.
Tesco shoppers can use their points on anything, from groceries to petrol.
All they have to do is scan the barcode from their voucher at the checkout, either via their phone or by using a paper voucher.
The vouchers can also be redeemed online.
