Smallville actor Allison Mack has been sentenced to three years in prison for manipulating women into becoming sex slaves for the leader of the cult-like NXIVM group.

Mack had pleaded guilty to the charges that accused her of helping create a society of brainwashed women branded with leader Keith Raniere’s initials.

“I made choices I will forever regret,” she told a New York court, saying she was filled with “remorse and guilt” over her association with the group.

Mack is best known for playing young Superman’s friend in the Smallville series.

In a letter to the court last week, she wrote: “I am sorry to those of you that I brought into NXIVM.

“I am sorry I ever exposed you to the nefarious and emotionally abusive schemes of a twisted man.”
