The Clarence House Instagram shared two pictures to celebrate the Queen Mother’s birthday on Wednesday. The pictures included an adorable childhood picture of the Prince of Wales with his grandmother, Princess Anne and Prince Edward.
One of the Queen’s corgis is also immortalised in the touching snap.
Clarence House captioned the pictures: “On this day in 1900, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother was born.
“The Queen Mother, The Prince of Wales’s Grandmother, lived at Clarence House for nearly 50 years.
“The silver vase with rosemary seen in the first photo was given to The Queen Mother as a gift on her 100th birthday.“

“Such a lovely tribute to Prince Charles’s beloved grandmother. She was a remarkable person!” another Instagram user wrote.
The Queen Mother tragically passed away in March 2002.

She also happened to be the last Empress of India as India gained independence in 1947.
