The Duke of Sussex, who is living in California with Meghan Markle after the pair quit royal duties last year, is penning a tell-all book about his life with ghostwriter JR Moehringer. And Eugenie – who remains close to Harry – is likely to be the only royal contacted for help, according to a source.

The insider told the Sun: “I could only imagine Eugenie talking or being approached as she is someone Harry is still in regular contact with.”

Eugenie remains close to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in the wake of Megxit and their Oprah Winfrey interview.

She and her husband Jack Brooksbank live at Harry and Meghan’s former Windsor home Frogmore Cottage with their son August.

The Sussexes quit as working royals in March 2020 for a new life in America.

It was announced last month that Harry is releasing his memoir next year.

The Duke promised the book would be an “accurate and wholly truthful” account of his life.

Harry said he was writing the book “not as the prince I was born but as the man I have become”.

But royal commentator Daniela Elser warned this year’s summer holiday will be “unlike any other William and Kate have taken before”.

Prince William has shared a rare personal tweet congratulating boxer Lauren Price on her Olympic gold medal.

The boxer won the medal in the women’s middleweight final against China’s Li Qian at Tokyo 2020.

Following her victory, the Duke of Cambridge took to Twitter to personally congratulate Lauren, who was raised in Ystrad Mynach, Glamorgan, by her grandparents, Derek and Linda.

William, who interviewed the 27-year-old from Wales in the run-up to the Games, said: “Congratulations @LLPrice94 on winning Olympic Boxing gold. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were snubbed by Barack Obama this week because they are not “in the same league as other A-list celebrities,” according to a royal expert.

The former US president snubbed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex after he left the couple off his 60th birthday party list.

In a sign that the couple’s star power may be waning, it was revealed that Harry and Meghan were “not planning to attend” Mr Obama’s 60th birthday party.

Princess Beatrice’s husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi has shared a gushing birthday message for the pregnant royal.

Beatrice, who is expecting their first child together, turns 33 today.

And Edo took to Instagram to post a sweet birthday message to his wife.

The millionaire property tycoon said: “Happy Birthday my love. I love you with all my heart.”

James Middleton has revealed he has bought a house with his fiancée Alizee Thevenet.

The Duchess of Cambridge’s brother took to Instagram on Saturday to share the exciting news about his and Alizee’s new home.

Princess Beatrice gained a new title on her wedding day but it was not given to her by the Queen.

Beatrice married millionaire property tycoon Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in a secret lockdown wedding last year.

And the Queen’s granddaughter took on a new title on her big day as Edo is an Italian count, meaning she became a countess.

Speaking to the Daily Mail before the wedding, Edoardo’s father Count Allessandro Mapelli Mozzi said: “Edoardo is the only male descendent taking the family into the next generation.

Thomas Markle claims he sent Meghan a bunch of roses for her special birthday, however he has alleged she is yet to respond to the birthday gift.

The birthday flowers sent by her father also reportedly included a tribute to her children, Archie and Lilibet.

According to TMZ: “Thomas sent Meghan flowers for her 40th birthday, along with a personalized card that simply said, “Wishing you a happy birthday and brighter days.”

The report continued: “We’re told the bouquet featured a dozen red roses with two yellow roses in the middle, signifying Meghan and Prince Harry’s two children.”
