The Queen’s granddaughter, 31, and her husband, 35, were spotted on their way to Balmoral with their son, born in February. The Monarch arrived on the royal estate in the Scottish Highlands on Monday ahead of other Royal Family members.
Photographs published by the Daily Mail showed Eugenie disembarking from a plane at Aberdeen Airport as Mr Brooksbank and their nanny carrying August follow her.
The royal couple reportedly boarded the flight at Heathrow Airport.
Footage released by Sky News showed the couple and their son arriving to Balmoral in the back of a Range Rover.
This year’s royal holiday will be particularly poignant as it is the first time the Queen, 95, has been at Balmoral since Prince Philip’s death in April.
The Duke of Edinburgh and the Queen used to enjoy their summer break together on the Scottish estate.
They would spend two weeks in a hunting cottage on the grounds before moving into the castle for the rest of the holiday.
On Thursday, Prince Charles, 72, shared a heartfelt tribute to his late father on social media.
He shared a black and white photograph showing Prince Philip in the garden at Clarence House with the Queen, Charles and his sister Princess Anne, 70.
