These beautiful pair of slippers from John Lewis immediately went out of stock, as royal fans across the country wanted their new babies to dress like the new royal baby, August Brooksbank.

The adorable baby footwear cost just £8, and would certainly have been put to use when August was born.

The slippers, designed to “keep little paws toasty and warm”, unsurprisingly sold out after Eugenie’s announcement.
