Biden LIVE: Veterans FURY as ‘feckless’ Biden appears to check WATCH at memorial | World | News

President Joe Biden has been slammed for appearing to check his watch during a ceremony marking the return of the 13 fallen US military personnel killed in the Kabul terrorist attack. ISIS-K, a splinter group of ISIS, took responsibility for the attack which killed more than 170 people, including 13 US military personnel. The devastating attack had the highest death toll for any single incident in war-torn Afghanistan since 2011. The mother of one of 13 US military personnel killed last week in the Kabul airport attack has raged at President Biden on the radio, blaming him for her son’s death.

The 13 service men and women killed on Thursday were Navy corpsman Max Soviak, Army Staff Sergeant Ryan Knauss, and Marines Hunter Lopez, Rylee McCollum, David Lee Espinoza, Kareem Nikoui, Jared Schmitz, Daegan Page, Taylor Hoover, Humberto Sanchez, Johanny Rosario, Dylan Merola and Nicole Gee.

Speaking about her 20-year-old late son, Rylee, Kathy McCollum said: “My son was one of the marines that died yesterday.

“[He was] getting ready to come home from freaking Jordan to be with his wife to watch the birth of his son.

“[Biden] just sent my son to die.”

Ms McCollom slammed the President’s “feckless” decision as criticism of the chaotic withdrawal erupts across the states.

“I woke up at four’o’clock this morning to marines at my door telling me my son was dead,” the grief-stricken mother added.

President Biden made a trip to Delaware on Sunday morning for a ceremony to honour the service members killed by the ISIS-K suicide bomber.

In a statement, he said: “The 13 service members that we lost were heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice in service of our highest American ideals and while saving the lives of others.

“Their bravery and selflessness has enabled more than 117,000 people at risk to reach safety thus far.

“May God protect our troops and all those standing watch in these dangerous days.”

The President has warned that in the final hours of the US evacuation mission in Kabul, another terror attack is ‘highly likely.’

Americans have been told to avoid the airport once again.
