Kate teamed up with the tennis champion Emma Raducanu for a game of doubles because she was celebrating British sporting excellence.

The Duchess, 39, and Emma, 18, met at the National Tennis Centre this morning and the pair looked ready for a tennis match.

Kate Middleton is very sporty, having played hockey and netball in her youth growing up.

As a working royal, Kate has often played sports at royal engagements, such as a game of cricket when visiting Ireland with Prince William in early 2020.
