Rami Malek has had huge acting roles in several films throughout his career. Best known for portraying Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rapsody, Rami has also starred in shows like Night at the Museum, Larry Crowne and The War At Home. How much has he made throughout his career?
He won an Oscar for Best Actor in 2019 and also won the Golden Globe and a SAG Award for his role.
The movie turned over £700million worldwide.
This makes it the best performing movie biopic of all time, and the eighth-biggest movie of 2018.
Back in 2015, it was reported in a study that actors can, on average, take home a bonus of about £3.3million per movie after an Oscars win.
He said: “We live in a world right now where so many of us feel voiceless. We’re not being heard by the Government, we’re not being heard by our society.
“I grew up in a family that immigrated here. My dad worked door-to-door to sell insurance, and my mum was pregnant with my brother and I, taking three buses going to work, so that they would give their children the opportunity to be special.
“I just want everyone, no matter how you grew up, the socio-economic standard you were born into, to have an opportunity regardless, to not be stifled in the time to work. To be given a chance, like I’ve been given a chance.”
In his personal life, Rami and his girlfriend Lucy Boynton are rumoured to be house hunting in London.
He met girlfriend Lucy while filming Bohemian Rhapsody in London and they have been dating ever since.
