Over the weekend Ed Sheeran released his first set of tickets to his upcoming string of shows, The +-=÷x Tour – pronounced The Mathematics Tour. The gigs begin in 2022 and will see him going throughout the UK, Ireland and Europe in arenas and stadiums. The new tickets go on sale today.
Tickets for the new shows in this tour are on sale now – tickets are available here.
Many of the locations Ed is visiting have a number of nights, giving fans a larger chance at getting tickets.
And it will surely be quite the show, as the A-Team has a new set-up for his live shows, placing him at the centre of all the action.
This will be the star’s biggest tour of his career, and it couldn’t come at a better time.
The star recently secured his 13th consecutive week at number one on the UK Singles Chart with Shivers.
Shivers took over from his previous single Bad Habits.
Bad Habits spent a further 11 weeks at the top of the UK Singles Chart.
Ed also recently landed a new milestone of becoming the first British solo artist to claim an entire year, 52 weeks, at the top of the UK Singles Chart.
He is only beaten by Elvis Presley and The Beatles at the same milestone.
Ed’s chart-topping prowess likely won’t stop there, as his new album is just around the corner.
His fourth album, Equals, is due out on October 29, and is the star’s first record in four years.
This will be the first album and tour Ed has had a daughter, Lyra, who was born in 2020.
In a recent interview, Ed announced his wife, Cherry Seaborn, and his daughter will be going on the road with him.
He said: “So usually, on Divide tour no she didn’t, and she would dip in and out, but now her work is all completely remote because of the pandemic has made it so everyone works from their laptops, so she’s coming fully on the road, and usually I would fly home in-between dates, but we’re just going to be out.
“We’ll live in Germany for a week, live in France for a week, it’s going to be really nice, and it’s going to be really good for [daughter] Lyra as well to see other cultures and she’ll be, by the time the tour ends, she’ll be like 5, so that’s good.”
