Bradley Walsh stars in new series The Larkins, based on the novel The Darling Buds of May by H.E. Bates. Bradley plays the character of Pop Larkin and will be seen in the series’ second episode tonight at 8pm on ITV.

This raises his net worth to a huge £20million.

The TV host’s earnings have reportedly soared to almost £1million a year, making him one of the highest paid stars in British television.

Accounts filed with Bradley’s company, Wingit Productions, reportedly reveal his company’s net worth equates to £12.3million.

This is an increase of more than £800,000 from £11.5million in 2020.

Born in Watford, Hertfordshire, Bradley’s first job was as a professional football player, playing for Brentford at the age of 18.

Performing stand-up comedy gigs on the side, Bradley came second in a talent contest at the Rolls-Royce Sports and Social Club in his hometown of Leavesden.

He was then offered a role by ITV as a presenter on one of the channel’s new game shows, Midas Touch.

Later, in 1997, he hosted the popular American game show Wheel of Fortune.

He has headed ITV game show The Chase since 2009, and in 2014, he hosted the series Come on Down! The Game Show Story.

Most recently, in 2020, he was the presenter of a one-off festive revival of the game show Blankety Blank for the BBC.

Bradley is a singer, too, and has two albums: Chasing Dreams and When You’re Smiling.

He is married to dancer Donna Derby and the couple have a son, Barney.

Bradley also has a daughter, Hayley, from a previous relationship.

He lives with Donna in Epping, in Essex.
