Having had to postpone their UK and European tour twice due to the pandemic, Queen and Adam Lambert have been focusing on some other projects. While Brian May has been remastering his debut solo album Back to the Light, Roger Taylor has released a new record in Outsider and set off on a UK tour. The Queen drummer’s string of concerts concluded last Friday night in London at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire where a surprise cameo took place.
Having released his remastered Back to the Light single that same day, Brian posted a tease on his Instagram that he may just be getting ready to join Roger back on stage for the first time in almost two years.
The Queen guitarist shared footage of the solo tour band rehearsing Radio Ga Ga inside the London venue.
He captioned it: “On the day of release of my new single … where am I ?
“This all looks (and sounds) strangely familiar. Might see some of you guys later, then !!! Bri X.”

Speaking with MOJO, the 72-year-old said: “Well, Brian suddenly lost interest and I don’t really know why. We started it in Nashville when we were all quite tired.
“We couldn’t decide on a title and the lyric felt a little too negative for Queen, maybe.”
Nevertheless, Roger gave fans hope by adding: “But it was pretty damn good, and I hope it comes to light.”
Queen and Adam Lambert’s rescheduled UK and European tour kicks off on May 27 in Belfast and concludes on June 25 in Helsinki.
