HALLOWEEN MOVIES ON SKY CINEMA – I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER
The 90s was a wonderful decade for horror films, with slashers making a resurgent comeback spurred on by the success of Scream.
One of the films that followed in the footsteps of Wes Craven’s iconic horror was 1997 hit I Know What You Did Last Summer.
Penned by Kevin Williamson, who also wrote the script for Scream and The Faculty, I Know What You Did Last Summer is one of the best examples of the 90s teen horror craze.
With an all-star cast for that era led by Jennifer Love Hewitt, I Know What You Did Last Summer is a great choice if you’re looking for something to watch this Halloween.

HALLOWEEN MOVIES ON SKY CINEMA – THE INVISIBLE MAN
Leigh Whannell’s follow-up to Upgrade is one of the best horrors in recent years.
Starring Elisabeth Moss as a woman who has escaped from her abusive ex-boyfriend, The Invisible Man is an allegory about the scars that being in an abusive relationship can leave behind.
Not only that, but it’s a brilliant, creepy horror which features some genius effects and scares.
If you get a chance, check-out the behind-the-scenes footage on YouTube after watching to see how the FX team created the havoc the titular invisible man leaves behind.

HALLOWEEN MOVIES ON SKY CINEMA – THE EVIL DEAD
The Evil Dead franchise is one of the most beloved horror series around, and launched the career of Sam Raimi – who went on to directed the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man films.
The first entry in the series, 1981’s The Evil Dead, isn’t as tongue-in cheek or as funny as the sequels.
But it features some great practical effects and camera work, and introduced audiences to one of the most iconic horror heroes – Bruce Campbell’s Ash.

HALLOWEEN MOVIES ON SKY CINEMA – THE SHINING
One of the most famous horror films ever, Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining is an absolute masterpiece.
Featuring a typically brilliant performance from Jack Nicholson, plus one of the most iconic settings for a horror film, The Shining is an all-time classic that shouldn’t be missed.
Author Stephen King may not have been a fan, but it’s arguably the best film based on the prolific horror writer’s work.
HALLOWEEN MOVIES ON SKY CINEMA – URBAN LEGEND
Another 90s horror, Urban Legend may not immediately spring to mind when you think of that era.
But it’s a hugely entertaining horror that has a clever conceit, and boasts some big stars of that era in the cast (Tara Reid, Joshua Jackson).
