Steps only have a couple of dates left on their What The Future Holds Tour, which kicked off at the beginning of this month. Earlier in the tour Strictly Come Dancing star Faye Tozer tested positive for COVID-19, forcing her to isolate for ten days. Today, it was announced Lee Latchford-Evans had also tested positive.

The official Steps Twitter account announced Lee had tested positive for the virus.

This means, the statement read, Lee will have to isolate for the standard ten days, according to government guidelines.

The isolation period for Lee means he will miss the final three dates of the tour – of which tonight is the first.

The band have continued testing negative, meaning they will continue to play as planned tonight at the London O2 Arena.

After the November 27 show at the O2 Arena in London, the band have two more dates before their tour comes to an end. 

On November 29 the band will play the Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff. 

The quintet will then finish out their string of comeback gigs on December 1, 2021. 

This final show will take place at International Centre in Bournemouth. 

Faye’s return follows the star confessing she was “baffled and gutted” by her positive test back on November 19.

She wrote to her fans: “Thankful for our daily testing to have been able to recognise it and so the show can still go on.

“Please give the guys the biggest love as they continue to smash the shows and I hope to be back soon x”

The legendary 90s band reunited for the first time in 2017 after a hiatus that began in 2012.

Their return came with an album, Tears On The Dancefloor, which reached number two in the UK Album Charts.

Their follow-up album, What The Future Holds, was released in November 2020. After its release, they announced the two-month UK tour which they are currently on.
