Princess Anne does not have to ‘vary’ style like Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle – ‘rare’
[ad_1]
The Princess Royal is regularly credited as one of the hardest working members of the Royal Family. Princess Anne allows the focus to be on her work by maintaining the same hairstyle and fashion sense. Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle often get the most attention when it comes to fashion in the Royal Family.
Princess Anne is among the royals with the most Googled hair, with ‘Princess Anne hair’ fetching 320 searches a month.
She is the most popular royal of her generation when it comes to style, and also more popular than her mother, the Queen.
The only royals who get more searches for their style each month are the Cambridges and the Sussexes.
A style expert spoke to Express.co.uk about how this is “rare” because Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle have such extravagant hairstyles which they change quite often.
DON’T MISS:
The style expert from Design Bundles said: “While Kate Middleton and especially Meghan Markle routinely vary their hairstyles between ponytails, loose waves, buns, and chignons, Princess Anne maintains the same retro, brushed-back bouffant.
“She has worn it for the past five decades.
“However, rare pictures recently emerged of Princess Anne as a young child sporting a mass of bright-blonde curls.
“This was her natural hair at the time.”
It is a big achievement for Anne’s style to be as popular with royal fans as Kate and Meghan.
This is especially significant as she has an arguably more ‘simple’ look that is less extravagant than Kate and Meghan’s style.
Daena Borrowman, Marketing Manager at jewellerybox, spoke to Express.co.uk about the Princess Royal’s “underrated” style.
She said: “Princess Anne is by far, the most underrated sartorial icon of the British Royal Family.
“Throughout the years, she has maintained her unique sense of style.
“It blends the classic, the timeless and the retro with the uber functional.
“In fact, both her wedding ensembles have stuck true to her style essence.
“They featured archetypal commonalities including her iconic bouffant, her love for high necks and her preference for minimally accessorising.”
