Meghan Markle pulls in a total of 7.4 million Google searches a month, making her the most influential member of the Royal Family. The Duchess of Sussex features in 10.4 million Instagram hashtags and had 11,200 articles written about her the past year. This has made her the most mentioned and searched-for royal in the world.
The Duchess made waves across the world after she and her husband Prince Harry left the UK.
She pulls in double the number of media mentions, Instagram hashtags and searches than even that of the Queen.
According to this study, Queen Elizabeth is the second most influential royal.
Kate Middleton also appears high on the list, ranking as the third most influential.

The Duke of Sussex rakes in 2.7 million Google searches a month, features in 11.7 million Instagram hashtags and has had 9400 articles written about him in the past year, making him the fourth most influential royal.
Princess Diana reigns as the fifth most influential royal, ahead of former husband Prince Charles, despite having passed away 24 years ago.
Princess Diana, infamous for her enduring beauty and strategic use of fashion, from her legendary taffeta wedding dress to the sultry ‘revenge dress’ she wore after Prince Charles admitted his infidelity, still pulls in 20 million searches a year.
