Having shot to fame on American Idol, Adam Lambert’s incredible vocals caught the ears of Queen legends Brian May and Roger Taylor, who ended up performing with the singer on the show before starting their amazing collaboration. Having been working together for over a decade, Queen and Adam Lambert are set to resume their long-delayed UK and European tour this summer, which they’ll no doubt be starting to gear up for. But today also marks a special occasion as it’s Adam Lambert’s 40th birthday.
Adam admitted at the time: “I don’t have anything planned for my 40th yet. I’ll do something with friends.”
Queen and Adam Lambert’s UK tour kicks off in Belfast on May 27, before heading to Manchester, Glasgow and Birmingham.
The band are also set to perform at London’s The O2 for a 10 night residency in June.
