Kate Middleton news: Have Duchess of Cambridge’s eyebrows been ‘laminated’?

Laminated eyebrows can produce the natural and yet full look the Duchess of Cambridge sported recently, notably when the royal glowed in gold at the No Time to Die premiere in London.

The Duchess’s eyebrows looked thick and dark, a flattering and youthful look for the royal.

Tori Rosero, make-up artist and founder of Glowblade Academy told Express.co.uk: “Kate Middleton’s fluffy brows definitely look like they have been laminated to create a natural, yet fluffy and perfectly set brow.

“When brows are laminated we use a cream to set brows into the desired position, so Kate’s therapist could definitely have done this to create the fluffy and textured, yet immaculately groomed look she has now.”

Celebrity brow artist, Sarah Fogg, who has treated the brows of Love Island’s Olivia Attwood among others, said: “Looking at the Duchess of Cambridge’s brows, it does look as though she may have had them lightly laminated.

“The shape has changed slightly and looks flatter and the hair definitely looks to be pushed in an upward direction.”

Another specialist and founder of Brow Bar, Yana Gushchina, agreed and said: “Kate Middleton has always had strong brows, but in recent months she has sported a fuller, fluffier brow style.

“It does look like she’s gone for a laminating treatment as the hairs look like they’ve been brushed upwards, are slightly flatter and more groomed into place.”

As for aftercare, Yana told Express.co.uk: “During the first 24 hours after treatment you should avoid getting your eyebrows wet, they will also look a bit darker and glossy.

“We apply moisturising serum at the end of the process to hydrate all the hairs well and this is the reason why the eyebrows look different during the first day.

“After you wash them your eyebrows look lighter, softer and really natural.”

According to Sarah, who create brow gel The Brows By Sarah ‘Wow Brow’, the look can be recreated at home.

She said: “I really do find that it can give people the brows they have always wanted in less than an hour as it hides small gaps and gives the illusion of major hair growth.

“Many of our in-clinic clients are 30s to 50s and have lost a lot of their brow hair, either through the natural aging process, illness, or just over waxing.”

Kate Middleton’s style choices were analysed by a style expert recently.

Jessica Harris, pointed out the Duchess of Cambridge’s nod to royal military heritage, mirroring William’s past in the RAF.
