Members of the Royal Family attended the Cheltenham Festival today, including Zara Tindall and her mother Princess Anne. It was an opportunity for the royal women to showcase their best coats as the weather proved rainy and dull.
Despite the rain, Zara Tindall showed up looking ravishing in a long coat inspired by military wear.
Costing a whopping £2,900, the coat was designed by London-based fashion designer Laura Green.
Named the “Mairi”, Laura Green describes the garment on its website as a “military inspired trench coat”.
As well as its pronounced collar, it has epaulettes and a cuff belt, adding to the military feel.

This accessory was in a dark shade of turquoise, almost clashing with the other blues in Zara’s outfit.
She also carried a navy blue quilted bag, named the “Lottie”, from Aspinal of London.
The royal finished off the look with a pair of knee high “Zira” boots, which were black.
As for jewellery, Zara opted for a gold dangling pair, featuring royal blue spheres.
These, as well as the dark turquoise hat, brought out the royal’s blue eyes.
Zara attended the races today with her husband Mike Tindall and the pair seemed in high spirits, even sharing a kiss at one point during the day.
Mike matched his wife in a pair of royal blue trousers, matching tie, and navy blue overcoat.
He finished off the look with a black flat cap.
Zara attended the Cheltenham Festival yesterday, March 15, too – on the event’s first day.
To mark the occasion, she donned a burgundy coat with button detailing, wide sleeves, and gold touches along the belt.
She paired the garment with a matching burgundy bag and an extravagant fascinator.
The royal completed the look with a pair of slim black trousers and black stiletto heels.
