Meghan Markle, 38, joined the Royal Family when she married Prince Harry, 35, in 2018 but the pair have since sparked backlash for stepping down as senior members and cutting down on royal engagements. Royal snapper Arthur Edwards believes the Duchess of Sussex was “acting” during her first year as a royal. He accused her of “playing a very good part”.
Speaking to Dan Wootton on talkRADIO, Mr Edwards said: “She is an actress and for the first year I thought she was wonderful.
“I thought she was a great ambassador for the country. I now realise it was acting.
“She turned Harry intro this dour, awful sad man.”
Mr Wootton interjected: “So you think Meghan was acting when she first took on the royal role?”

Mr Edwards continued: “I think she was playing a very good part.
“They say Meghan gets what Meghan wants but I’ll tel you this, she’s lost the love of the British public and she’s got to work very hard to get that back.”
The talkRADIO host added: “It feels like Meghan had made her mind up.
“Nothing was going to keep her in the UK in the end.”
Meghan touched down in the UK today as the royal couple attend their final royal engagements in the next coming days before officially stepping down on March 31.
She is set to make her first public appearance in the UK in two months tonight.
Meghan and Harry are taking part in the Endeavour Fund Awards tonight, the first of a series of joint events that will be attended by the Sussexes culminating with the Commonwealth service on Monday.
The event, attended by Meghan and Harry last year as well, celebrates the achievements of wounded, sick and injured servicemen and servicewomen who have taken part in sporting and adventure challenges.
