Melania Trump news: Cheap version of olive green trench – where to buy

[ad_1]

The First Lady made a public appearance last week as she and President Trump planted a tree in the gardens of the White House to mark Earth Day. Wearing a stunning olive green trench coat, Melania had impeccable style as she posed alongside her husband on the South Lawn.

The plus size Belt Gabardine Trench is available in sizes large to XXL and is in a lightweight cotton fabric.

With a midi length and tie belt, it’s a convincing copy of the 50-year-old’s designer coat.

However, rather than a button-through design it has a press stud fastening and a smart lapel collar.

In its main collection, Mango has a Buttoned Long Trench that’s also been reduced in the spring sales.

The khaki coat with a contrasting check collar and cuffs adds a stylish twist to Melania’s look, and is available for just £67.99 down from £89.99.

In a slightly longer style, the button-through trench looks remarkably similar from behind and includes side pockets as well as an adjustable tie belt just like the Beckham number.

Slovenian-born Melania has fast become a style icon since stepping into the White House, as the ex-supermodel and socialite brings her keen eye for fashion to the world of politics.

Before marrying Donald Trump in 2005, Melania made her living as a successful fashion model and designer, working in Milan and Paris since the age of 18.

Melania then went on to appear on the covers of Vogue and Vanity Fair when she moved to Manhattan.

The First Lady shared her designer look on her Instagram page to mark the celebration of Earth Day last week.

Posting four photographs of the husband and wife as they got their hands dirty in the White House gardens, she added the caption:

“Today @POTUS, @VP, @SecondLady & I honored #EarthDay , #NationalParkWeek & #ArborDay by planting a maple tree on the South Lawn of the @WhiteHouse. This tree represents our nation’s dedication to conservation & our admiration for the great outdoors.”
