Police officers were called to Roden Street, Ilford at 7.15pm on Thursday, to reports of a stabbing at the supermarket.

The Met Police said paramedics also attended the scene.

They found a man suffering from stab wounds with serious injuries.

Shocking footage of a large police presence outside the store quickly surfaced on social media and officers can be seen rushing towards the supermarket.
