British Soap Awards best & worst dressed of all time: Roxanne Pallet wardrobe malfunction

Each year the British Soap Awards take place, honour the best of UK soap operas. Many fans look forward to the red carpet to see what styles their favourites will wear.

Sadly, the 2020 ceremony has been cancelled due to coronavirus, but tonight ITV will a special titled The British Soap Awards Celebrates 21 Years.

In lieu of tonight’s red carpet, Express.co.uk will round up some of the best and worst dressed stars over the years.

In 2005 Ali Bastial arrived wearing a pink baby doll dress with a handkerchief hem, a one shoulder strap detail and silver t-bar sandals.

She wore a matching satin baby pink clutch.

In the same year Hollyoaks Gemma Merra wore a green minidress with a embellished high neck detail and her hair in a voluminous beyhive.

Helen Pearson arrived wearing a fitted white and black stripy corset dress, flashing photographers a black and red garter.

This year Nathalie Emmanuel wore a bright green gown with green eye shadow.

In 2009 Jennifer Metcalfe wore an Aztec print dress, in orange, pink, blue and brown. Her black hair was piled in her head in a large bouffant style, and she wore pink lipstick and eyeliner.

In 2016 Jennifer Metcalfe looked stunning a red pantsuit with a low cut blazer, revealing a bare chest.

Underneath she accessorised with a golden harness of multiple chains.

The same year Gemma Atkinson wore a black dress, which was a backless halterneck number with gold embellishment.

Her hair was tired up on top of her head and she a glamorous slick of red lipstick.

In 2017 one well dressed attendee was Faye Brookes, who looked gorgeous in a bright yellow number with short batwing sleeves and a deep v-neckline.

Silver earrings dangled either side of her head and her hair was in a bun.
