An inquest has been opened into the death of Louis Lyttle, 20, after he was found unresponsive at his home in Seal near Sevenoaks. The hearing heard how Louis’s cause of death was given as morphine toxicity. Louis’ dad is John Lyttle who runs the online fashion store, Boohoo.

An inquest into his death was opened at County Hall in Maidstone.

It heard how Louis was born in Galway, Ireland, and worked as a digital marketer.

After failing to get up for work at 5am on Monday, April 20, he was found unresponsive and not breathing.

He was pronounced dead by paramedics at 6.20am.

The cause of death was given as morphine toxicity.

A full hearing has now been adjourned until September 24, coroner Alan Blunsdon said.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Louis Lyttle was a former pupil at the King’s School in Canterbury.

It said he also studied business management at Cardiff University and worked at Boohoo since July last year.

Mr Lyttle has been approached regarding the death of his son but does not wish to make any comment.
