Hajj is the annual Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca in Saudi Arabia, and Eid al Adha marks the end of the pilgrimage season.

This year, Hajj finished with only 1,000 pilgrims social distancing at Mecca instead of the usual 2.5 million.

All Muslims are expected to complete Hajj at least once in their lives, as long as they are physically able and can afford it.

However, this year coronavirus ruined Eid Al Adha plans all over the world.

In England, four million people across Greater Manchester, East Lancashire and parts of West Yorkshire are being plunged back into local lockdowns due to high infection rates.

From today, separate households in the identified areas are banned from meeting indoors.

This makes Eid al Adha a little more difficult to celebrate this weekend.
