Tesco and Sainsbury’s cancel online deliveries over snow: Is your order cancelled?

[ad_1]

Supermarket customers have been complaining their deliveries have been cancelled due to snow across the UK. One Tesco customer explained her delivery has been cancelled due to “severe weather conditions.”

The woman in Congleton recieved the update to her shopping via text.

“I thought it was quite premature, it was due at 2pm, and the roads were just slushy when I got the text, they’re completely melted now,” the woman added, the MailOnline reported.

A Sainsbury’s customer also claimed their shopping was cancelled due to a “light scatterting of snow”.

Tesco claimed 99 percent of orders would not be affected by the snow.

Snow is set to fall, and when it thaws and melts it will make conditions dangerous on the roads.

The Met Office has weather warnings in place across the UK.

There is a yellow warning due to snow and ice across the whole in the UK.

Warning of “icy surfaces developing, with some snow in places” the Met Office warned Britons should watch out for “some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces, probably some icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths and some roads and railways likely to be affected with longer journey times by road, bus and train services.”
