Kate Middleton’s ‘impressive’ diamond earrings from Queen could be worth £250,000

Kate Middleton, 39, joined the Royal Family in 2011 when she married Prince William. Being a member of the Royal Family means Kate has access to some of the most luxurious pieces including that of the Queen’s and also jewels that William inherited from his mother after she passed. Some of her jewellery pieces come with a hefty price tag too.
Nick added: “In terms of value, we have an impressive array of diamonds and with an expected rich antique history, Kate is wearing upward of £250,000 in her ears.”
In fact, the earrings actually belong to the Queen and Kate appears to have them on a long term loan.
The Duchess wore them first for a Place2Be function in 2016 and they are often referred to as the Diamond Frame earrings.
The Queen hasn’t been seen wearing them since 2013.
According to another expert, these are worth a little less.
In recent years, Kate has opted for a mix of high-end jewellery as well as more affordable pieces.
She can even sometimes be seen wearing high-street jewellery from places like Accessorise.
Commenting on the pair of leaf earrings, Sarah Buck, Head of Retail at H&T Pawnbrokers provided her opinion on how much they could be worth.
Sarah explained: The earrings are a pair of Georgian Diamond pendant drop earrings circa 1750.
“They have a larger diamond content and the value without the provenance would be £60 to £70,000 but with £150 to £200,000.”
The Duchess paired her luxurious earrings with a green coat by Catherine Walker.
The brand specialises in coat dresses and Kate has a huge selection of them in her wardrobe.
She added a faux fur trim to the coat with a black clutch from another favourite brand, Alexander McQueen.
