Princess Anne news: Body language with Zara Tindall shows ‘freedom’

Judi explained this is very different to what is done by her mother and grandmother.
The expert said: “The Queen gave her daughter the gift (and possible curse) of royalty, while Anne gave her own daughter the gift of freedom by removing it.
“Both the Queen and Anne have been governed by royal duty and it’s very likely that Zara symbolises the women they would have been without their titles.
“While the Queen and Anne are both passionate horse-riders, it was Zara who could turn that passion into a long-term career without time-outs caused by royal duties.”
DON’T MISS
The expert suggested Zara has very similar interests to Princess Anne and the Queen.
She added: “All three women share similar traits of upbeat stoicism and a mutual adoration of horses.”
Their shared interest in horse riding means Zara has been spotted most often at races such as Royal Ascot.
When they have been spotted together, body language expert Darren Stanton added that they have a close mother and daughter relationship.
This could be as their meetings have been so public, Princess Anne may be aware who is around her.
He said: “In one really interesting picture Princess Anne is not making eye contact with Zara.
“Her position is very rigid and stoic. I do not feel there is a great deal of rapport happening here.
“Princess Anne may be aware that the press are watching and therefore very cautious of the gestures and behaviour she gives off.”
The royal line of succession – who outranks who?
The line of succession to the British throne dictates the order in which each member of the Royal Family would ascend to the throne.
It is also seen as a ranking of importance with the head of the line, the Queen, taking the place of ruler.
Older children come before younger children. Traditionally boys came before girls, but this law was changed on 26 March 2015 before the birth of Prince William’s first child.
Incredibly, Catholics are still excluded from the line of succession, as are children born outside of wedlock.
The royals, who usually stick to a strict protocol when appearing in public, often arrive at events in ascending order of importance, with the most important royal arriving last.
Prince Charles, 72, is currently first-in-line to the British throne, followed by Prince William, 38, his oldest son.
Then comes Prince William’s children, George, seven, Charlotte, five, and Louis, two, and they are followed by Prince Harry, 36. Prince Harry is succeeded by his son Archie Harrison, born in May 2019.
