Kamala Harris news: Joe Biden’s VP fasion ‘tactis’ like to Beyonce and Hilary Clinton

Kamala Harris has had a number of fashion moments in her short tenure as VP. A fan of pantsuits, pearls and wearing Chuck Taylor sneakers, the Vice President’s style is considered and chic.
Katie went on: “Her style often holds meaning and has the ability to represent bigger matters at hand – a tactic utilised regularly by leaders and celebrities, including everyone from Beyonce to Hilary Clinton.
“Of course there have also been occasions when Kamala Harris and Joe Biden have tactfully dressed alike or mirrored their looks by opting for outfits that complement one another, as a symbol of their togetherness and teamwork.”
Kamala has worn white on many occasions, generally thought to be a nod to the Suffragettes, who fought for the right for women to vote.
Kamala Harris pearl collection is thought to have a significant meaning too.
Her pearls represent Howard University sorority Alpha Kappa Alpha, of which she was a member during her higher education studies.
It was the first African-American sorority in the country.
Speaking to Express.co.uk, Alexandra Michell Gemologist at Prestige Pawnbrokers of Channel 4’s Posh Pawn said: “Following in the footsteps of many First Ladies who wore pearls with a modern twist, a strong message is sent.
“Diamonds for strength, pearls for feminism and from lore, gold symbolising the sun for a new day or bright future, very appropriate for the First Female Vice-President of the US.”
Kamala’s wardrobe is curated to be a “symbol of her resilience and work ethic”.
Katie added: “When I think of Kamala Harris’s signature style, two things, in particular, come to mind – trouser suits and trainers.
“Each carries separate significance but together, these items embody her focus and can-do, get-up-and-go attitude.”
The VP wore this look for both her US Vogue covers shortly after she and Joe Biden won the US election.
