Looking at photos and videos of Kate during lockdown, Ricky is impressed with the care the Duchess has taken to look after her hair, saying: “I can’t fault Kate for the condition of her hair, and she clearly always takes great care of it. Not a split end in sight and always showcasing serious shine.”

He adds: “Clearly she is well informed, using a great moisturising shampoo and conditioner, as well as a little serum to keep those dry ends at bay.”

Ava Holland, artistic stylist at luxury hair and beauty salon Gielly Green in London, agrees with Ricky: “The hair does look healthy and shiny in her Instagram posts, so I’m sure she has been advised about the best products for her hair.”

However, Ava’s expert advice is that Kate still needs a fresh cut, saying: “Her hair is just hanging there at the moment it needs shaping and layers to give it some life again.”
