Melania Trump stepped out alongside her husband, former President Donald Trump, on Valentine’s Day for a romantic meal. Though she has kept a low profile since she and Donald left The White House in January, she stepped out in a dazzling cocktail dress.
It is speculated to cost roughly $4,000 (£2,854.09).
Commenters applauded her stylish ensemble, describing it as “chic” and “gorgeous”.
One fan of Melania wrote: “I love that dress and, of course, she’s gorgeous like always.”
Another commented: “Melania always wears the dress better.”
Though there were no images of the former first lady and president together, the businessman who posted the images explained the family were at the same restaurant as them enjoying a “Valentine’s Day dinner”.
Sharing a series of selfies with Donald and Melania, Keith Otto said: “What a way to spend Valentine’s Day, having dinner in the dining room alongside the Trump family!”
This is not the first time Melania has been pictured wearing Dolce & Gabbana, a brand she has opted for several times during her time as the first lady.
One of her wardrobe staples includes a stylish floral coat by the designer which she was first photographed in during a Christmas engagement alongside the then-President.
The Kimono-style over-coat is estimated to have cost well over $3,000 (£2,329).
However, Dolce & Gabbana is not Melania’s only go-to European designer.
Speaking to Express.co.uk about the former US first lady’s style, Abbey Booth, personal stylist and owner of Stories with Clothes, explained a selection of European designers are among the first lady’s favourites.
She said: “Melania chose to wear a plethora of European designer brands and luxurious accessories and reads like a who’s who of the fashion industry – from Alaia, Alexander McQueen, Burberry, Chloe, Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Gianvito Rossi, Prada, Roksanda, Victoria Beckham to name a few in addition to her favoured Christian Louboutin heels and the famous Hermes Birkin bags to Hervé Pierre, one of her favourite designers, who also designed her inaugural gown.”
