Meghan Markle and Prince Harry announced their engagement in 2017 after months of speculation. They tied the knot a year later in a ceremony at Windsor Castle. What is the Duchess’ engagement ring like?
For the wedding, Meghan stunned fans in a pure white, boat neck gown designed by Clare Waight Keller, the artistic director of French fashion house Givenchy.
Kensington Palace revealed that Meghan chose to work with her closely on her wedding dress because of her “timeless and elegant aesthetic, impeccable tailoring, and relaxed demeanour”.
She also wore a five metre-long white silk veil covering her face which included floral design representing 53 countries of the Commonwealth.
The Duchess also wore Queen Mary’s diamond bandeau tiara, loaned to her by the Queen.

The trilogy engagement ring includes a centre stone with two diamonds.
According to jewellery retailers EST1897, the engagement ring has a huge price attached to it.
Is it thought to be 5ct and be worth a whopping £134,500.
It also has a sweet link to Princess Diana, just like Kate’s ring.
The experts said: “Meghan’s ring also holds sentimental value, as the cushion cut contains two diamonds from Lady Diana’s collection.”
Some fans, however, have noticed her engagement ring has been upgraded in the past year, with it now featuring just one large diamond on a thin gold band.
Ben Jarret from EST1897 commented: “The English Royal Family are known for their crown jewels and luxurious taste.
“Their engagement rings often contain family heirlooms, with diamonds being passed down and often re-set into new bands.
“Despite being highly wealthy and at the top of English society, the royals keep their engagement rings understated when compared to the value of rings given to A-list celebrities.
“However, while the value of the stones and bands can be estimated, being owned by royals would hugely inflate the value if they ever reached the market.”
Kate Middleton’s engagement ring also has a sweet link to Princess Diana.
Prince William popped the question to Kate in 2010 while the couple were on a holiday at Lewa Safari Camp in Kenya.
He got down on one knee with a very special ring that previously belonged to his mother, Princess Diana. It features a large oval sapphire in the centre, which is surrounded by 14 diamonds. The Duchess wears it stacked with her gold wedding band.
The ring was originally created by Gerrard & Co., the former Crown Jeweller. At the time in 1981, it was said to cost a whopping £28,000. Now, it is thought to be worth a whopping £400,000.
