Kate Middleton funeral: Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William – ‘Firm encouragement’

Kate and William attended Prince Philip‘s funeral last weekend. They were one of the 30 major royals invited to the sad day.
“Kate’s confidence was visual from the moment she arrived but, while Sophie Wessex took charge of checking and monitoring the very emotional family members, Kate seemed to be in charge of the support and choreography of William.”
It appeared Kate has been chosen to help smooth over some of the more awkward social aspects of the day, the expert claimed.
Judi said: “Having spent some moments consoling Charles by placing an arm around his shoulders as she kissed his cheek, Kate showed signals of being the one chosen to take care of other business in The Firm by helping to set up William and Harry via some subtle but deft movements.”
Kate is thought to have helped set up the opportunity for brothers William and Harry to speak.
Judi said: “Kate looked stylish in a way that a Vogue model might envy, with every angle, from the tilted hat to the asymmetric neckline with its stand-up bow and the jaw-dropping pearls, complementing one another perfectly.
“But it was the tilt of Kate’s head that added the regal touch, echoing the type of head-tilt that the Queen Mother used to perform to signal a form of graciousness that had fallen out of fashion.”
Kate wore a stylish black ensemble to mark the sombre day as the family said goodbye to its patriarch Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh.
She wore a Catherine Walker coat dress over a £1,605 Roland Mouret dress.
