Kate Middleton style: Duchess recycles Fair Isle jumper for farm visit with William today

Kate Middleton and Prince William, who will mark their 10th wedding anniversary on Thursday, had a fun day out today as they visited a family of farmers in County Durham. The visit to Manor Farm near Darlington saw the couple touring the farm to find out more about livestock.

For the visit back in December, the Duchess added her favourite navy Hobbs coat to the look for a smarter outfit.

Today, she kept it simple and casual with a green wax jacket, matching William in his green padded coat.

The royal is a huge fan of green wax jackets and has several in her collection including ones from brands like Barbour.

Royal fans took to Instagram to share how amazing the Duchess looked for her second public appearance since the funeral of Prince Philip.

The Penelope Chilvers Long Tassel Boots in brown leather are a firm favourite for the Duchess and she has worn them on several occasions.

In fact, she has actually been seen wearing these classic comfortable-looking boots since 2004.

They retail for £475 and are made from natural Spanish vegetable-dye leather.

Kate kept her brown locks natural and wavy, adding a small pair of gold hoop earrings to complete the look.

She also went for natural makeup with a nude lip and brown eyeshadow.

The couple were first seen in public since Prince Philip’s funeral last week where Kate went for a very different outfit.

As the Royal Family were still in the period or mourning the Duke of Edinburgh’s death, the couple visited an air cadet base in East Ham, London in black outfits, in line with royal tradition.

The Duchess also went for another recycled number and wore her £2,349 Dolce & Gabbana black coat with gold button detailing.

Kate teamed the coat with a pair of simple yet elegant black pointed toe heels by Tod’s.
