The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expecting their second child in early summer. The royal couple are preparing to welcome a baby sister for their two-year-old son Archie.

According to a source, Meghan and Harry had a “low-key” Mother’s Day in the US on Sunday.

The insider told Us Weekly: “As she nears the end of her pregnancy, she’s taking it easy.

“Harry’s extremely protective and doesn’t want her overdoing it.”

The Sussexes announced they would be having a baby girl during their sit-down interview with Oprah Winfrey in March.

In a video posted on social media, Make Give Live founder Claire Conza explained that the initiative provides a range of essential items to mothers and children escaping from domestic violence.

The caption read: “Thank you Harry & Meghan, Duke & Duchess of Sussex, and of course, Archie for the generous donation of these 200 beanies to your friends on the other side of the world in NZ.

“@igotyourbackpacknz was very grateful for them and they will be sent in care packs to refuges around NZ to warm heads and hearts.

“It also meant a lot for our maker community to have something special to bring them together to enjoy connection and creativity whilst making them, and didn’t they do an incredible job!? Happy Birthday Archie.”
