Sophie, Countess of Wessex and Prince Edward undertook royal duties today as they greeted staff and patients at Frimley Park Hospital. The royal opted for a stunning midaxi navy dress by luxury brand ME+EM.

Putting safety first, Sophie and Edward donned disposable blue face masks as they chatted to the hospital staff.

The couple were greeted by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey, Mr. Michael More-Molyneux and met various different key workers at the site, which is just four miles from their family home.

The Pearl Zip Knitted Pleat Dress featured a slim-fit bodice with a high neckline.

It had a zip opening which the Countess opted to keep half-fastened.

The royal added a pair of tree of life drop earrings to the look, keeping the rest of her jewellery fairly simple.

Sophie added a pair of tan ankle boots for footwear to keep warm in the unpredictable spring weather.

For accessories, the royal finished the look with a snakeskin clutch bag and added a stone-coloured duster coat for extra warmth.

She left her locks styled in a natural wave and kept her eye makeup simple with a little bit of mascara.

Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall was also out today visiting The Whittington Hospital in London.

The royal opted for a blue dress which featured a gorgeous exotic bird print.

She added a gold chain necklace to the look and earrings with pretty gemstones.

The Duchess said: “Whenever I have the great pleasure of meeting Roald Dahl Specialist Nurses, I am always struck by your kindness, resourcefulness and boundless energy; and never fail to be moved by the stories of the lives you have touched.

“Thank you for being marvellous.”
