Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, and Prince William arrived at the Palace of Holyroodhouse tonight after the couple invited NHS workers to a drive-in cinema screening of Cruella. The Cambridge’s arrived in one of Prince Philip’s Land Rovers, loaned to them by the Queen.
For the occasion, the Duchess opted for a full-length tartan coat with gold detailing.
The coat featured colours of blue, green and purple with a thick belt around the middle to cinch in the waist.
The piece is from British designer Holland Cooper, and it retails for a whopping £849.
The description reads: “Classic and timeless, the Marlborough full-length trench coat is a wardrobe staple and a lifetime investment.

She has worn them several times before and has a large collection, with lots of different colours.
Fans were quick to comment on social media about the stunning coat.
One person said: “Kate is dazzling again.”
Another wrote: “What a sweet nod to Scotland!”
For accessories, the Duchess wore a beautiful pair of earrings on loan from the Queen.
The Dubai Looped Sapphire Demi-Parure was a gift to the Queen during her 1979 Tour of the Gulf States.
The original set included a necklace of diamond loops with alternating loops surrounding large oval sapphires, plus a pair of earrings and a ring, each with a large oval sapphire surrounded by diamonds.
Like with a lot of jewellery pieces, the Queen made some amendments to the necklace and shortened it as well as two spare sapphire loops being made into a new pair of earrings.
The Queen has worn the set several times throughout her reign, although it is the first time Kate has been seen wearing them today.
Earlier today, the royals headed back to the University of St Andrews, where they first met.
The couple joined Geography and History of Art students contributing to the ‘Can Do’ scheme, a joint initiative between the university and the St Andrews Students Association, to discuss their experiences of the pandemic.
The 39-year-old donned a black twill blazer from British brand Holland Cooper.
It retails for £549 and featured gold detailing on the handcuffs as well as four gold buttons on the front.
