Most eyes were on the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince George in the royal box at Wembley Stadium, with the Princes’ matching ties and Kate’s impressive outfit changes from Wimbledon to Wembley.
Last night during the Euro 2021 final, the Princess shared a video of baby August on her Instagram story wearing an adorable England FA baby grow, with the ‘Three Lions’ football anthem playing in the background.
England FA merch could be seen far and wide last night, but the five-month-old August stole everyone’s hearts when Princess Eugenie shared the delightful 10-second clip.
The England FA baby grow can be found on Sport Baby for only £13.99.
It is described as “a replica of England’s 1982 World Cup Finals home shirt where England beat France 3-1 in the group stages.”
DON’T MISS:
The white baby grow has red, white, and blue stripes on the neck and cuffs, the iconic Three Lions woven badge on the chest, and little red popper fasteners on the legs.
It is an officially licenced 2021 Season baby grow and has now been advertised by a member of the Royal Family.
It is available to buy on Sport Baby for babies from birth up until 18 months of age.
Since Princess Eugenie’s Instagram story post, the clothing item has now sold out for babies aged between zero and six months.
Since Princess Eugenie created her Instagram account in March 2018, the account has grown to boast an impressive 1.5 million followers.
She uses her social media account to raise awareness of the charities she supports and honour the likes of her grandfather Prince Philip, who died in April this year.
The Instagram story came amid reports baby August’s christening will be cancelled due to a COVID scare.
The event was due to take place on Saturday at Royal Chapel of All Saints, however, this will no longer be the case.
The Instagram story was posted before England’s defeat in the Euro 2021 final, however, Princess Eugenie has shown herself to be a true fan of the football team.
She posted on her Instagram story this morning saying: “You brought us together and lifted our hearts when we needed it most… thank you England.”
She then shared an emotional post from the official England FA Instagram page celebrating the journey to the Euro 2021 final, with clear support towards the team and its players.
Princess Eugenie enjoyed the historic football match from home, while the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince George attended Wembley Stadium in the royal box, and Zara and Mike Tindall were also in attendance.
